Hang-Zhou-Wan Bay New Zone Cixi China
Hang-Zhou-Wan Bay New Zone lies to the north of Cixi city, faces the Hang-Zhou-Wan Bay. It is the center of the golden economic city triangle made up of Shanghai, Hangzhou and Ningbo in Yangtze River delta of China. The South Approach to the World longest sea bridge(Hang-Zhou-Wan Bay Bridge) crosses the New Zone, there are obvious advantage in location and communications. The general planned area including its controlled area of the New Zone amounts to 145 k㎡, and it will be a new Eco-modern industrial city with a population of around 500,000 to 600,000 and become the economic center in north part of Ningbo.
Relied on science & technology and through advanced management, Cixi has founded its industrial structure composed of the 10 major productions with different varieties of 3,000 products. The export-oriented economy has achieved rapidly progress. Cixi is regarded as the best city for comprehensive and industrial R&D and cooperation in China. Cixi municipal government and the New Zone administrative departments are of minimum staff, high efficiency and probity in accordance with WTO. The policies and rules are clear to the public and carried out uninterrupted. The social environment is safe and stable. People are properly guided on morals of working, competition and individual merits realization.
Now it has been developed 40 k㎡ of the New Zone and in which industrial water supply, civil water supply, power supply, post and telecommunication, thermopower, highway in zone, gas supply, and drainage, flat terrain have been finished. The green coverage rate of the whole section exceeds 40%, and the water is over 11%. The New Zone is a littoral Eco-industrial Zone.
Hang-Zhou-Wan Bay New Zone will be a famous city for commerce in the south flank of Yangtze River Delta, An Economic Center in North Part of Ningbo, an Eco-travel industry city.
